WSK Round 3

The CRG - Maxter champion Arnaud Kozlinski conquers the first step of the podium in the major class KF1 at the South Garda Karting track in Lonato, thanks to an impressive performance showing his great driving abilities.

After some problems in the qualification heats, that force him to start from the 21st position on the prefinal starting grid, the French driver made an incredible recovery to the 6th place. Starting the final in the leading group together with his team mates Thonon and Guignet, Kozlinski is able to reach the first place after just a few laps and to keep it until he crosses the finishing line.

Great performance also for Jean Philippe Guignet, who run the final at the top levels fighting with Kozlinski for the lead of the group and finishing the race at the 3rd position. Thanks to this great result Guignet is now at the 4th place of the general classification.

Unfortunate Sunday for our Belgian champion Jonathan Thonon. After missing by an hair's breadth the superpole on Saturday and finishing respectively 3rd and 1st in the two qualification heats, Jonathan starts the prefinal from the second place and he keeps his position until he crosses the finishing line. Starting second in the final, he is forced to stop after just a few laps when he was still in the second position fighting for the head of the group.

In KF2 Andrea Dalé made a good performance, obtaining respectively a first, a third and a ninth place in the qualification heats, then starting from the fourth row in the prefinal, where unfortunately he had to leave the race after just a few laps due to a collision, irreparably compromising the race.

Good race also for the other Italian driver Giovanni Venturini: after a few problems in the qualification heats he is forced to take part in the second chance heats to be qualified, but after that he is able to recover from the last row to the 18th place in the prefinal. Thanks to his fast laps he then misses by an hair's breadth the top ten recovering further positions in the final and finishing 12th.
